How TurboJet turns a garden hose into a high-pressure blaster

The physics, in plain English

Water leaving an ordinary hose nozzle spreads across a wide opening, so the force landing on your driveway is soft and scattered. TurboJet channels that same flow through a precision-tapered chamber and a narrow outlet. As the opening shrinks, the water speeds up dramatically, and the pressure at the tip climbs to as much as five times what your standard nozzle delivers.

That concentrated jet does the scrubbing for you. Instead of wetting grime and pushing it around, it gets underneath the layer of algae, dust and traffic film and lifts it off the surface in one pass.

Setting it up takes about 8 seconds

1. Connect it. Screw or click TurboJet onto your existing garden hose. It takes about 8 seconds.
2. Choose your nozzle. Jet nozzle for stains and joints, fan spray for rinsing and delicate surfaces.
3. Start blasting. Turn the tap fully on, squeeze the trigger and work in overlapping passes.

Which nozzle setting to use

• Concentrated jet: black stains on concrete, paver joints, wheel arches, mud on tyres, mossy steps and drains.
• Wide fan spray: rinsing paintwork, windows, solar panels, flyscreens, treated timber and plants.

Getting the strongest possible jet

• Open the tap fully and straighten any kinks in the hose.
• Use the shortest hose length that reaches the job.
• Hold the tip 10–15cm from stubborn stains, and 30–40cm from delicate surfaces.
• Work in overlapping passes, always from the top of a surface downwards.
• Let a degreaser sit for a few minutes before blasting older oil marks.

Water use and restrictions

TurboJet uses the flow your hose already delivers, but because jobs finish faster most customers use noticeably less water than they would with a spread nozzle. Water rules differ by state and council, so check your local water authority's current restrictions before cleaning hard surfaces.
